Why this Spreadsheet

What this site is for

Why use a Spreadsheet to prepare a Tomebuy order?

A Spreadsheet is useful before you have chosen a product: category shelves reduce the search to plausible listings, and the buying guides help compare them on the points that affect your actual order. Tomebuy then handles seller contact, purchasing, warehouse work and shipping. The two parts solve different problems.

Build a comparable shortlist

Suppose you want a bag that fits a particular laptop. Choose two listings, open the intended size and colour, and compare internal dimensions rather than the model name alone. Check whether straps and accessories are included, whether the seller has a minimum order quantity, and what domestic shipping adds. Keep the original link and selected option together in your own notes.

Turn the specification into a QC question

If an advertised dimension is the deciding factor, ask for a measurement of your received bag. If you care about the closure, request a view that shows it. Historical warehouse photos from another purchase may help identify a useful angle but do not verify your item. The QC guide distinguishes visual evidence from tests Tomebuy does not perform.

Test the delivered budget before adding more

A hypothetical ¥20 saving on the bag does not establish a cheaper delivered order if it needs a much larger box. Enter plausible packed dimensions in the weight tool, keep assumptions separate from measurements and check the cost components. The final rate and eligible routes must come from Tomebuy; the Spreadsheet does not connect to your warehouse account.

The practical benefit is a shortlist you can explain, a specific inspection request and room for the second payment. If you already have a verified seller link and agreed specifications, you can skip discovery and use the order guide for the next step.

This is not Tomebuy's own site, and it is not run by Tomebuy. It links out to tomebuy.com for every actual transaction: searching, ordering, paying, and signing in all happen there, not here. What happens here is browsing, reading, and checking the numbers before you commit.

How the contradictions are found

By reading the same question across multiple Tomebuy pages

Tomebuy, like most storefronts built from a shared commercial template, answers the same question in more than one place: a homepage promise, a dedicated policy page, a help-centre FAQ, and a tutorial article often cover the same ground with slightly different wording, and sometimes a different number. This site's method is simple: read all of them, quote the exact wording, name the source page, and say plainly when two of them disagree rather than silently picking the more flattering figure.

Three results of that method are the storage-period figures on the storage page, the QC-photo count on the QC page, and the operating address discrepancy on the agent page.

What this site cannot do

The honest limits

No line prices

Tomebuy's public shipping-rate data reads as demo-looking numbers, so this site will not print a freight price it cannot stand behind. See the freight page for why.

No access to your account

The official nine-step guide is available, but this site cannot inspect your orders, payment state or private warehouse records. Use the guide for the sequence and your own account for the actual status.

No ranking

This page does not claim Tomebuy beats or loses to any named competitor overall. See Elsewhere for how this site handles other agents.

No invented numbers

Anything without a cited Tomebuy source, a date, and a quoted line is left out rather than estimated.

Where the photos come from

Representative catalogue images and live listing checks

The category images illustrate the kinds of products you can browse. They do not confirm current stock, a particular seller or a specific variant. Open the actual product listing to check the price, availability, dimensions and options before ordering through Tomebuy.

Why “Spreadsheet”

A naming convention across this kind of site, not a literal spreadsheet

“Spreadsheet” in this site's name, and in the names of similar sites covering other agents, refers to a browsable catalogue you scroll through by picture. No part of this site is a shared workbook or a downloadable office document; every shelf is a page of product cards with photos, same as the rest of the site.

How this site is kept

Checked against tomebuy.com, not against memory

Facts on this site are re-read from Tomebuy's own pages rather than carried forward from an earlier note. The updates page logs when a figure was last checked and what, if anything, changed. If you find a page on tomebuy.com that contradicts something written here, or a number that has since moved, the contact address in the footer reaches a real inbox.

If this site and Tomebuy's own page disagree

Tomebuy's own page wins, always

Nothing on this site overrides Tomebuy's own current policy. Every figure here is a snapshot, dated and sourced, of what Tomebuy's pages said on the day they were read. If tomebuy.com currently shows something different from what is written here, tomebuy.com is correct and this site is due for a recheck; the updates page is where that gets logged once it happens.
